The FAO-EU FLEGT Programme and the World Resources Institute are releasing a new publication documenting lessons and best practices in the planning of government-led timber traceability systems in Latin America.
The report Timber Traceability, a Management Tool for Governments: Case Studies from Latin America, co-authored by Ruth Noguerón, outlines lessons learned and best practices. It serves as a reference for government officials in other countries tasked with developing and implementing similar systems.
A virtual launch will be held on June 20, 2022 at 12 Noon (EST) / 11 AM Bogotá, and will feature panelists from Guatemala, Honduras and Colombia. The event will be broadcast live on the FAO YouTube channel. Make sure to tune in on Monday, June 20th.
